My last wedding job at 2013 and the weather was quite cold indeed but our crew did enjoy it quite much.  I was quite excited as I know that I’ll be celebrating the new year of 2014 in a couple days time.  We didn’t take many photos outdoor due to the temperature so we spent a bit of available time within the Hotel, here are some photos taken for the day:

It has been quite a while I didn’t update my blog and I would start updating my blog more from now on.  Here is the most recent pre-wedding photos taken in Hong Kong.  I’m so happy to be the Photographer for Diana & Henry and Diana is a very pretty girl who is a good Harpist and she is so well known at our wedding industry.  It was very fun to work with this couple even the weather was quite cold but we did catch a beautiful sun set, let’s preview some of the pictures taken at the sun set:

This set of photos were taken two and a half months before their wedding day and it was a cold day indeed.  The temperature was around 7 or 8 degrees and it was quite windy too.  Ivy needed to wear a wind shield clothes during every moment that wasn’t shooting….poor her…..

Me of course wearing plenty of clothes…hehe…..

Some years ago we’ve once joined a dog owner’s club called Poo Poo Club that the owners of poodles can have gathering with their pets and share information on a discussion forum.  Cheri was one of the member who has join this club and we’ve meet on one of the events held by this community club few years past.

At the wedding ceremony, their pets would also participate on their march-in section too.

So busy for the last few months, jobs piled, Chinese New Year gatherings, my new born baby sure occupied most of my spare time but luckily I have a great helper who is taking very good care of my baby.

Anita & Haig are the referral from my previous customer Channel & Anson who hired me as their photographer for their prewedding and wedding day.  King’s colleague was Haig’s old school and we also spent some time at the school as this place is so special for them.

It is one of my best moments of this year to receive this great photography award from Wedding Magazine 婚禮 – the Best Pre-wedding Photographer 2011 最佳婚紗攝影師 2011.  I was so happy to receive this award along with my friends Lawrence Tsang, Kenneth So, Philip Tsang, Thomas Ng and Ray Chiu, here are some of the photos taken by my personal photographer – my lovely wife Alice at the Ceremony earlier this year.

This time I went to a new hotel “Banyan Tree Hotel” such a beautiful place and huge hotel room with a pool inside too.  Spa rooms are provided too…..  love it very much…..

Very happy to be their photographer again after taking pre-wedding photos few months ago.  There were 9 bridesmaids & 9 groom-mates  altogether and they are all very cooperative and cheerful….posing them for shooting was fun indeed.  The room was big consider that we have gathered the bridesmaids  and groom-mates together with their relatives and my crew of 5 persons.  Since the schedule was tight, we only could spare time to take some portraits at the hotel.

love this picture

This wedding is quite special for me and my wife Alice as you would know that the bride Janice is one of Alice’s best friends if you have read my previous posts for their Pre-wedding http://www.chanhorace.com/?p=989 & http://www.chanhorace.com/?p=1026 .

It was pouring rain in the morning but went sunny during the afternoon and we did spend some time on the location shooting too at the Star ferry station.  The tea ceremony for both parents took place in the same hotel as well as the registration ceremony therefore my crew didn’t get wet at all.

We all had a great night and we feel so happy for this new couple and wish them happy forever.

Janice & her sister

Stephy congratulate this new couple too.

It is very sweet to have an anniversary photos taken along with their own son…..not a baby…..not a child….a teeth-age boy about the same height as his dad.  No one would believe a lady like her has a son so grown up….just like a sister with a little brother.  So happy to spend a day with them and we’ve traveled to Shek O for the very first location and then we went to inspiration lake after dropping off two lovely poodles to home.   It was a cool weather that day and it was windy too at Shek O, her son kept passing her the fur to keep her warm after each photo shots.   Let’s see some of the photos taken that day:

His (poodle) name is “Toast”

This wedding is quite special to me as it was a special referral….not referred from the bride, groom, bridesmaids or groomsmen.  It was recommended by one of the top makeup artist “Shirley Foo” from Andersen Makeup Workshop.  My wife introduced Shirley Foo to me some time ago and I’ve a chance to be her family’s photographer at the studio once.  I’m so grateful to her for the trust as she has been working with a lot of famous wedding photographers in HK.  I’m also very impressed with her work especially to the hair styles she specially designed for her best friend Polly.  It was very fun to work with Polly & Jerry and their bridesmaids & groomsmen.  It was great weather and we spent sometime at 1881 at the breaks between the ceremony & the banquet section.  By the way the food was really good….hehe thx Polly & Jerry.  Happy Marriage!!!

What a great weather on their wedding day

Very beautiful bride

Usually I would meet up both the bride & the groom on the interview but this time I never met the bride before the wedding, the groom was arranging all activities regarding to photography service.  Since the tightness of the schedule we couldn’t squeeze the time for any outdoor location photo section except in the hotel.  Surprisingly I’ve found quite a bit of spots within the hotel (Hyatt Regency at K11) for their shootings and I was enjoying it very much.

This was taken near the parking space

I feel so excited to be Becky & Jacky’s photographer for their pre-wedding as well as their wedding day too.  day before their wedding was raining badly and cold too but on their wedding day the sun did actually found it’s way out through the clouds and it was extremely great since their ceremony was held outdoor at Gold Coast Hotel.

Vivian & Martin are my work ex-colleagues, since we have been working for toy industry, we do have many mutual friends.  It was fun to meet lots of friends that have not been met for a long time.  It actual brings out lots of memories!  The couple has decided to have their location photography at the Wetland park where is quite near the groom’s parent’s apartment in 天水圍.  It is the first time I’ve been to Wetland Park a very beautiful place and there was a bit of sunshine too.  But besides wetland there are plenty of blood sucking mosquitoes and the anti sprays didn’t not work on them…….poor me….and the couple too….but I think worth it after seeing the photos.

The main color of the flat is Yellow

haha my idea to have this posture…kaka

At Wetland Park
